Is there a possibility for baptizing?

Of course, if people are interested there is an option to be baptized in the Jordan river

In some of the religious sites modest clothing is required.

Is it possible to drink tap water?

Yes, it is, but it’s recommended to purchase bottled water which is sold on the bus for $1 per bottle.

Do I need a Visa?

American citizens do not need a travel visa to enter Israel, only a valid passport with expiration date at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

When is the best time to travel to Israel?

Travel in Israel is something you can plan on virtually any time of the year… the holy sites never take a vacation. The winter months are fairly mild in Israel, although there might be some rainy days and sometimes even snow in Jerusalem. Israel is hot in the summer with average temperatures over 86oF.The most comfortable times to visit are spring and autumn.

Will my electrical appliances work in Israel?

In Israel we use the standard European 220-volt outlets (three-pronged). It is advised to bring an adapter for usage of your electronics.

What language is spoken in Israel?

Hebrew is the country’s official language, the holy Biblical language. English is a widely spoken language in Israel and is learned by many Israelis in school. Arabic is used by Israel’s Arab minority which comprises about 1/5 of the population.

Will I have access to Internet (Wi-Fi)?

Most hotels offer Wi-Fi service for free or at a nominal fee. Also, many restaurants and busses do have free Wi-Fi.

What should I pack?

Of course, packing is a personal issue and also depends at the time of the year, but at the bottom line we suggest to choose comfort over fashion. But some things are highly recommended: Comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, light jacket, swimsuit, Bible and camera. For wintertime, remember to bring a warm coat. For the women, please bring a shawl to cover the shoulders in holy sites. Another advice, no need to over pack… better to leave some room for souvenirs to take back home.

Is Israel safe to visit?

Yes, it is safe to travel to Israel. Before Covid Israel welcomed 4 million visitors a year with no major incidents. In 2022 we saw a massive boom in tourism following the reopening of the country after the Coronavirus pandemic.Israel has excellent health services. Also, tap water is safe to drink.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, it’s highly recommended to purchase a travel health insurance.

The tour includes a few longer walks, especially in Jerusalem, therefore we recommend good walking shoes.

Do we have free time during the tour?

Because there’s a lot to do and to see our tour includes full touring days but you’ll have free time in the afternoons and evenings after returning to your hotel.
