About TGL

With three generations in tourism and after leading thousands of Christian visitors through the Holy Land, following the footsteps of Jesus and the Biblical stories, we are thrilled to have our own agency known as TGL TOURS which was founded in 2018.

TGL is an Israeli company that takes personal interest and responsibility in our travelers to provide them with the best spiritual experience in God’s Land.
Out of the love for the Lord, the Bible, and our country, we see our work as a mission, and thus, TGL TOURS was born.
We want to encourage you all to come to the Holy Land, to see what you read, and to have a deeper understanding of the Scriptures by bringing the stories to life while experiencing God’s Land.

Who we are

“I was born in Jerusalem to the fourth generation into a Jewish family, with ancestral ties to Iran and Iraq, apparently descendants of the tribe of Judah who were exiled to Babylon after the distraction of Solomon’s temple. My mother, originally from the Netherlands, comes from a Christian family and immigrated to Israel to follow love.
As a daughter and granddaughter of tour guides, I have always remembered traveling all over Israel, especially in Jerusalem, surrounded by love for the Bible and my country I developed a deep appreciation for Israel’s landscapes and biblical significance.
Even before completing my service in the IDF, I had a strong aspiration to carry forward our family tradition and share the wonders of the Holy Land with others. This led me to establish TGL TOURS.
Today, I am happily married to my dear husband Gal, and we reside in Modi’in, nestled between the vibrant cities of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.”

“Growing up in Jerusalem, I cherished every moment exploring its streets and hills, captivated by the tales of the Bible, history, and archaeology. After serving as a combat soldier in the IDF’s Paratroopers unit, I joined El Al to contribute to Israeli airline security, where I met my beloved wife, Dirma, in Holland.
Inspired by my father, Avi Shemesh, a veteran tour guide of over 40 years, I followed his path and became a certified guide myself. Over three decades since leading my first group, I still feel the same thrill every time I guide visitors, sharing my passion for the Bible and being part of their journey to the Holy Land.
My faith blossomed in 2006 during my time as a guide, adding a deeper dimension to my work. Today, I reside in Modi’in, happily married with three children and two grandchildren, grateful for the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me.”

We feel a mission for our beloved country, Israel. By bringing our travelers to God's Land, we strengthen our nation. We are excited that our travelers will get to know the country, not only from its religious aspects but also its people, culture, and traditions.
